A Guide To The World's Best Fine Dining Restaurants

 

These bloggers are the few fine dining connoisseurs who truly critique Michelin 3-star restaurant food, which established guides and lists do not. I have run across only four in the western world that have impressed me. Each has dined (not reviewed) at a minimum of 50 Michelin 3-stars, and two have been to over 130. Remember, guides tell you where to go, and bloggers can tell you why you should go with much greater detail, including ten or more photos to visualize the food dishes better. 

Helpful Hint: How to find the top bloggers. These are usually very low-traffic web sites with low search ranking, so using long-tail keywords works best. For example, type in the restaurant name and a signature dish to get search results with much more bloggers on page one.

  • He has visited over 50 Michelin 3-stars - 4 in the United States, 18 in France, 29 in Europe in 9 countries.
  • Description quality: superb- my personal favorite, he is not afraid to call it as he see's it, including his adept overall impressions
  • Images- 10 to 12 and excellent to outstanding image quality
  • Rates each restaurant using a 0-100 point system


Elizabeth on Food

  • She has reviewed over 70 Michelin 3-stars in Europe, including 22 of 31 in France and  10 out of 13 in the United States. See the filtering options to find an excellent list worldwide by country and city.
  • Description quality: excellent, is not afraid to call it as she see's it, wordier than most
  • Images- 8 to 10 of food and very good image quality, sometimes less so in darker rooms
  • Rates each restaurant using a 0-100 point system


Three-Star Epicure

  • He has reviewed 11 Michelin 3-stars in the United States, 38 European in Europe, and 29 in Asia
  • He has visited 136 Michelin 3-stars  
  • Description quality: excellent, well balanced in amount of words used     
  • Images- 10 to 20 of food with outstanding quality for its mostly very large-sized images.
  • Rates each restaurant using a 1-10 point system and rates each dish likewise


Travels for Stars

  • He has visited over 130 Michelin 3-stars - all 13 in the United States, 30 out of 31 in France, 36 out of 41 in Europe excluding Italy and 17 out of 28 in Japan and Hong Kong
